Beating the Benchmark

This was a huge website project that was, for me, the first time I animated a bunch of elements on the page using parallax behaviors. A lot of animations were triggered when the element was reached on scroll, such as the sheep sliding into place, a guy running off a cliff, and the explorer’s bag dropping down next to him. I honestly can’t remember what the actual product was. Based on my current web searches, it looks like these guys might have been investors. I don’t know! I do know the site as I built it was only up very briefly, there’s only one example of it on the Wayback Machine, and it’s incomplete. So, oh well.

These screenshots were taken from the dev site I created for the project.

Description

2013 was a busy year... this site was for an Oozle client who wanted a lot of interactive features on the homepage. I used parallax and scroll-triggered jQuery effects to do that. The site is forever lost but these screenshots show pretty much how I built it, sans animations.
