Turnabout Ranch

This site was built for a relatively famous client in Southern Utah, Turnabout Ranch. It’s a rehab center for troubled kids that unfortunately made the news in some bad ways. I actually got to help set up some high-level email and comment blocking on their site because they were getting the types of comments/emails that even my junior dev and I were cringing at. It was hard not to feel personally attacked when I built this site and it was being used to hurt the owners.

Regardless, the site itself was a huge improvement on their previous site and I was proud of my work. In addition to the original site build, I also added in a custom glossary page that was dynamic and would be updated with the addition of glossary items to a custom post type that I created for a coworker, so that her job would be easier.

I also want to say that I fought for a better quality photo on that homepage, and lost the battle. Oh, well. The site apparently does its job and they were quite happy with it.
