HOJ – 2013

HOJ Innovations, a local warehouse solutions company, wanted a site built with an online store that they could use to fulfill on some orders remotely. I set them up with a site built in Magento. They ended up wanting a redesign just a few years later, but this was one of my final forays into Magento. Due to some of the customizations (related to shipping zones and zip codes if I remember right), I swore off of Magento forever at that point.

Description

First iteration of a few versions of the HOJ website. We built this site in Magento because, at the time, it was sort of the defacto shopping cart CMS. It became pretty unwieldy pretty fast, and was frustratingly limited in what we could do. It required a lot of customization as a result.
